Horseback Riding
Several of our hotels and mountain lodges offer horseback-riding tours through typical villages, charming trails, and wet forest, with a waterfall as a final destination in most of them or a sunset trot along the beach. The choice of horseback excursions ranges from morning trail rides taking you into the mountains above San Jose, which brings you back to your hotel in after lunch, to all-day expeditions through the rain forest. Horseback riding tours are also an excellent choice for bird watching and getting close to nature.

Mountain Biking
You can get active and go trough scenic trails between mountain and forest areas to typical discovers towns, parks and reserves such as San Luis, Monteverde preserves.
